SCOPE. Cal. 16 Ga. 2 3/4" / 9.3x72 R. S# 3660. The 26 3/4" bbls. are fitted w/ claw scope bases & pup up U-notch rear & silver bead front sights in full length matted rib. Maker’s name & address are engraved on tops of bbls. Bbl. flats are stamped w/ Imperial German Nitro proofs & year 2000 reproofs. French gray, rnd. bodied, top lever action has rifle selector on top tang & is fitted w/ peninsula backspring locks w/ rebounding serpentine hammers. Action is line & geometric border engraved. No other maker’s marks are present. Trigger guard is steel. Front trigger is set. Action also features crossbolt 3rd fastener. Attractively marbled & lightly figured European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14 3/8" over open sided pad & features Bavarian cheekpiece, point pattern grip checkering, sling loop & a silver oval on toeline engraved “LG”. Matching splinter forend has Deeley release. Drilling is mounted w/ Zeiss 6x scope w/ 3 post reticle in soldered on mounts, rear w/ windage (scope does not have internal windage adj.). MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: R .676", L .676". Restriction: R .023" (MOD), L .034" (FULL). Min. Wall Thickness: R .029", L .027". STOCK: DAH: 3 1/8". DAC: 1 9/16". LOP: CAST: approx. 5/8" off. WEIGHT WITHOUT SCOPE: 6 lb. 14 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black plastic case. CONDITION: fine as completely refurbsihed. Bbls. & action retaining nearly all custom blue & French gray over some old scattered pitting. Newly made good quality stocks retain nearly all of their original oil finish. Checkering still light in color. Shotgun bores are bright & shiny w/ remnants of light pitting in left bbl. Rifle bore is shiny w/ strong rifling & some light pitting toward breech end. Action is tight, most likely done in 2000 w/ new proofing at that time. Locks are good. Scope is also completely refinished w/ only a few very minor marks in its new exterior blue, lacquer on turret shows brass & has not been refinished. Optically clear. Someone spent a lot of time & money in making this gun serviceable for the next 100 years. (22-4950/MGM). CURIO. $800-1,200.
