WITH SCOPE. Cal. 9.3X74R. NSN. Newly made 25" oct. bbl. has integral quarter rib & front sight ramp. Quarter rib fitted w/ 1 standing 2 folding leaf express rear sight & white bead front sight is dovetailed through ramp. Cal. is marked at left rear. A sling eye is dovetailed through bottom flat. Case hardened No. 1 rolling block action has Remington Arms Co. patent dates on top tang, the last of which is March 18, 1874. Action otherwise unmarked. Newly made stocks are of dense crotch figured American walnut. Straight grip buttstock measures 14" over steel buttplate features swept right hand cheekpiece & flat top point pattern checkering. Matching forearm has cast pewter tip. Rifle fitted w/ Leupold 4-12X scope w/ fine duplex reticle in high Leupold rings & 1 piece base. Weight: 10 lbs. 12 oz. CONDITION: very fine as custom finished. Bbl. retains approx 80% original blue w/ some areas of thinning & high edge wear. Action retains nearly all of a good looking color rehardening. Stocks retain nearly all of their hand rubbed oil finish w/ a fair number of light marks & bumps. Checkering very lightly worn. Bore is bright & shiny. Action crisp. Scope is very fine w/ light exterior scratches. Optically clear. (01-20266/MGM). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
