1) S. SUTHERLAND PERCUSSION SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 Ga. NSN. Bbls. 28" of twist steel. Top flat is gold marked "LONDON" & has gold bands at breech end. Right lock marked "S. SUTHERLAND", left lock marked "RICHMOND VIRG". Key fastened straight grip checkered walnut stock w/ steel shotgun buttplate. Consignor supplied information states that Sutherland was under contract w/ the Confederacy to convert flintlock rifles to percussion during the Civil War. CONDITION: bbl. & locks have dark rusty appearance w/ light appearance. Locks do not function. Stock is broken at head & shows heavy wear. Trigger guard is broken at front attachment screw. Ramrod is missing. Dark pitted bores. (01-18696/DS). ANTIQUE. 2) MAYNARD BREECHLOADING PERCUSSION CARBINE. Cal. 50. NSN. Bbl. 20" w/ blade front sight & single leaf rear sight. Left side of action has replacement saddle ring & bar w/out screw. Semi inletted replacement stock has not been fitted to the gun. Repro. buttplate. Repro. mainspring, nipple & 2 buttplate screws. CONDITION: metal has dark rusty pitted appearance. Trigger guard tang is not present. Top tang is broken through screw hole. Action is not functioning. Rusty bore. (01-18697/DS). ANTIQUE. 3) ASSEMBLED PARADE OR TRAINING MUSKET. 1864 Dated Springfield Lock & Model 1863 stock cut to 2 band length. Bbl. utilizes breech & muzzle section of original bbl. on either end of 19 1/2" wood dowel. CONDITION: functioning lock shows faded blue w/ surface rust on hammer. Stock shows scattered handling marks. 18 RAMRODS. Consisting of 5 w/ tulip tips. 1 Is labeled for a Richmond confederate carbine. / 3 Trumpet tips. / 4 Slotted tips. / 6 Assorted button tips. 1 Is identified for a Mendenhall, Jones & Gardner. / LONGARMS PARTS. 37" Bbl. w/ 2 leaf rear sight & hammer for a Model 1861 US Rifle-Musket. Partially polished w/ pitted bore. / 37" Bbl. only for for 1863 rifle musket. Dark appearance w/ general pitting having a rusted bore. / Forearm section from a European 3 band musket. / All items housed in wooden barrel. (02-14511/DS). $300-500.
