MUSEKT. Cal. 75. NSN. Made for centennial reenactors. Lock has "GR" cypher forward of cock & "STOWE / 1776" on tail. Gerald Stowe was the former curator of arms & armor at the West Point Museum. He died in 1970 and this reproduction was made during the bicentennial & marked in his remembrance. CONDITION: very good overall. Barrel & lock are gray/bright with some pitting. Brass furniture has a light patina. Stock is sound, mechanics good, smooth clear bore. (01-22910/JS). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
