Embellishment of rev. performed by A. & A. Engravers of Rapid City, SD. Only known Vaquero variation produced w/ unfluted cyl. 1 Of each edition presented to W.B. Ruger & remain in factory collection. Issue price of the Silver Edition was $1,800 & $3,295 for Gold. Cyl. frame forward of trigger guard has "WBR" over boxed "C049". Butt has "AHL & AMERICA REMEMBERS" legend; Engraving info immediately in front of trigger guard. Appearance of rev. appears pewter (or silver) w/ gold embellishments to include plated trigger & hammer. Broad gold band around rear of cyl. listing factory achievements since 1949. 3 Gold shields on cyl. w/ busts of Sturm & Ruger plus image of Red Barn. Dark lined scroll engraving throughout plus bright banner on top of bbl. w/ "COMMEMORATION of RUGER & HIS GUNS". Backstrap has Ruger's long standing statement of "ARMS MAKERS FOR RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS". Other gold embellishments include "RGR" on left side of frame between pins, adult & youth w/ rifle vignette on left side of recoil shield, Ruger's signature on right side below cyl. & state outline of principle manufacturing facilities (at the time); CT, AZ & NH. Bbl. has gold images of Model 77, Mini-14, Red Label, Standard Auto & GP-100. Rosewood grips w/ red background silver eagle medallions. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: walnut display case w/ shadow line green velvet interior plus drawer w/ "RUGER & HIS GUNS" book by Wilson; #49 of limited 500 copies signed by author. Light marks on lid of case. CONDITION: very light full turn line on cyl. appearing engraved rather than from cyl. stop. All other aspects of rev. near excellent. (21-1323/NW). MODERN. $1,200-1,800.
