Long-time, repeat donor Rainy Pass Lodge is Alaska's oldest hunting lodge, Steve Perrins (the 2021 SCI North American Outfitter of the Year!) is donating a fantastic, 5-day summer trip for two (2). Trip dates are July 24 to 29, 2023, Alternate dates and year (2024) can be arranged with outfitter; however, buyer will be responsible for any increases in the cost of trip over these dates in 2023. Additional travelers are welcome @ $9,400 each. This package includes all meals and lodging at the beautiful and historic Rainy Pass Lodge, scenic bush flights, horseback rides along the legendary Iditarod trail, helicopter glacier tours, overnight at an even more remote Alaskan log cabin, pristine mountain lake fishing for Arctic Char, Grayling and Rainbow Trout. Wildlife viewing for Grizzlies, Black Bear, Dall Sheep, Caribou and the Alaskan Moose! We are not done yet! Historic onsite museum tour, Monument Hill hike, gold panning and so much more! This is one of the few hunting lodges in Alaska where horses are used so the trip will be conducted on horseback, foot, helicopter and plane. The arrival point is Anchorage, Alaska, and from there a special transportation charter flight is required and included in your package. The Lodge was founded and operated by the Branham family in 1937; in 2003 Steve and Denise Perrins purchased the Rainy Pass Lodge property and have been keeping its wild Alaska hunting tradition alive.
