'ADL,' an American made bolt-action sporting rifle rechambered for .338 Winchester Magnum, and manufactured circa 1968 ('CR' date code) in Ilion, NY. Rifle features a blued finish, receiver drilled and tapped for optic mounting, 22" tapered stainless steel barrel, iron sights removed, serrated curved trigger, blind magazine, turned down and swept back bolt handle witha checkered knob, serrated right tang mounted manual safety. The hardwood Monte Carlo furniture consists of a semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock with press checkering at the wrist, press-checkered forend with a sling stud, right-hand cheek piece with a sling stud on the bottom of the shoulder stock, and a black factory ventilated rubber recoil pad with white and black spacers. A Redfield 3-9x50mm scope with a duplex reticle is mounted to the rifle using a Redfield mount and two-piece 1" rings. The original blued finish retained is approximately 99% with superficial handling blemishes. Metal displays no deformation, and no rust. Action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. The furniture wood is in excellent condition with minor handling marks. The scope's sight picture is clear and bright.
Condition is NRA Excellent.
