'Gamemaster,' an American made pump-action rifle chambered for .30-06 Springfield, and manufactured circa 1955. The Remington Model 760 Gamemaster was produced circa 1952 to 1981 with over 1 million rifles manufactured. Rifle features a blued finish, steel receiver drilled and tapped for optic mounting, a 22" tapered barrel, ramped dovetailed blade front sight with a silver-toned bead, elevation adjustable sporting rear sight, smooth curved trigger, dual action bars, accepts detachable box magazines, annular cut cross-bolt safety at the rear of the trigger guard, serrated bolt release at the front of the trigger guard, sling swivel at the front of the action tube, and a serrated magazine release at the front of the trigger guard. The hardwood furniture consists of a smooth semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock, grooved pump handle, sling swivel on the bottom of the shoulder stock, Pachmayr brown rubber stock sleeve, and a black serrated aluminum butt plate. The original blued finish retained is approximately 80% with scratches along the barrel, edge wear, and friction wear on the action tube. Metal displays no deformation. There are very few and small spots of oxidation, and pin-prick pitting on the receiver. Action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. The furniture wood is in good condition with handling blemishes, and finish losses mostly on the shoulder stock. Rifle includes one magazine total, and a leather sling.
Condition is NRA Good.
