Remington Model 10 12 Ga SN: 233280
Vintage, American made pump action shotgun chambered for 12 gauge shells, (shell length not visible). The John Pedersen designed shotgun was made between 1908-1929. It features a 30" blued barrel and receiver with a steel bead front sight, smooth trigger, safety in front of trigger guard and a half barrel magazine tube attached to the barrel with a barrel band. It has a "corn cob" style pump handle and a nice butt stock with a black Remington UMC butt plate. The metal finish has been redone with a high polish blue on the barrel and a matte finish on the receiver. The barrel looks very good with little signs of wear. The receiver shows some handling marks. The pump handle looks good. The butt stock has a hairline crack on both sides where the receiver meets the wood. At some point in its history a brass (?) diamond inlay was placed on both sides of the stock behind the wrist, (alignment not perfect) and the clear coat has cracked. There is a Social Security number scratched into the left side of the receiver. A mag tube screw is sheared off. Bore looks good, dusty. LOP is 14". Choke is marked Full on the barrel and measures Full with a choke gauge. Condition is NRA Good *C&R Firearm*
