The barrel and receiver have a mottled appearance with a combination of thinning blue and grey patina with small scratches and mars from carry and use and two professionally filled holes from an old side mount noted on the receiver. The smooth wood stock is in fair condition showing heavy use with an old coat of varnish added and cracks along the fore end and at the wrist. The butt stock ends with a Remington marked plastic butt plate. The bore is worn, but shootable, the action is crisp and markings are legible on this early Model 8 Est.: $300-$600. (C+R).
