Remington New Model Army .44 Cal SN: 80307
Refinished Civil War period U.S. Army percussion revolver chambered in .44 caliber, circa 1860's - 1870's. Features a clear coat over a blued finish, screw in front sight, notched rear sight, loading lever, non-fluted six shot cylinder with safety notches, checkered low hammer spur, smooth trigger, brass trigger guard and replacement two piece walnut grips. Finish is peculiar and shows losses and light surface rust on barrel. Barrel address is light but legible and serial number is very faint and we made our best determination to identify it, but it may not be accurate. Revolver shows inspector marks on loading lever, frame, trigger guard, barrel and cylinder. Action functions well, nipples are all good, bore is clear and wood grips are extra fine. Condition is good. ***Antique Firearm***
