The Remington Model 8 is a take-down semi-automatic rifle designed by John Browning and produced by Remington Arms, introduced as the Remington Auto Loading Rifle in 1905, though the name was changed to the Remington Model 8 in 1911. Serial number places production in 1908. This particular rifle is chambered in .35 Rem, long action, 5 rd internal magazine, 22" sleeved barrel. The wood stock and forend are in overall good condition with a couple of cracks in the upper left wrist repaired with two small nails, ranger rubber recoil pad installed. The forend has a swivel attached to remove it which contains the take-down lever. It has a dovetailed front sight with an adjustable rear sight. The bore and rifling look very good. Blue is faded somewhat with some patches of light pitting on the right receiver & underside of the barrel.
NRA Condition-Good+. C&R Forearm.
