Reproduction Civil War Schneider & Glassick Navy Type Percussion Revolver, with associated Bowie knife, case, packaging and paperwork, #00679, .36 cal., 7.5'' blued octagonal barrel with brass post front sight marked on top flat ''Schneider & Glassick, Memphis Tenn.'' in one line, on left-side lug ''High Standard/Hamden, CT. U.S.A.'' in two lines, and with the serial number on right lug; blued loading lever and plunger, undecorated 6-shot round cylinder, brass frame is marked with the serial number on right side, brass gripstraps, one-piece varnished hardwood grip. Action and bore are mint. Loop guard Bowie knife of polished steel is fitted with two-piece ebonized wood grips marked ''C.S.A.'' on right panel, on right ricasso ''High Standard/Sporting Arms'' in two lines and on left ricasso ''Designed by/Jim Dickson'' in two lines. Hard case to hold both the revolver and Bowie knife is of decorated white leatherette lined with form-fitted red velveteen and contains a small envelope holding two case keys; shipping carton for the revolver is two-piece Styrofoam with a pictorial sleeve and contains a printed exploded view of the revolver with parts nomenclature; two-piece undecorated cardboard shipping box for the knife contains a sleeve for protecting the blade. Condition of the revolver is as new and appearing unfired, retaining all of its original finishes, slightest tarnish to the brass, and no cylinder turn line; Bowie knife is also as new and unblemished; the hard case is sound with only slight external handling marks and a mint, unmarked interior; the revolver shipping carton shows a bit of wear mainly to the outer sleeve and has an end label identifying this specific revolver by model and serial number; the knife shipping box shows tape residue outside but is sound and otherwise clean.
