Reproduction Fullstock Kentucky Flintlock Rifle, NVSN, .36 cal., ''bright'' 39-1/4'' octagonal barrel, with large bead-blade front and adjustable open rear sights unmarked as to maker; ''bright'' border engraved flat lockplate is likewise unmarked; trigger having early-style curled tail; brass furniture includes serpentine sideplate, triggerguard with finger-rest, patchbox with hinged door opening to butt trap, crescent buttplate, nosecap, and three ferrules holding the brass-tipped hickory ramrod; varnished maple stock with 12 brass inlays, brass barrel tang surround, and light line carving on both sides of lock. Finishing suggests hobbyist workmanship. Condition is very good, the ''bright'' steel surfaces showing patina and very light rust, the brass with patina (solder repair at juncture of buttplate/lower tang, filler at inletted top tang area), the fullstock with all varnish finish. Includes a handmade wrought-iron nipple pick. Action is smooth; bore is brilliant with defined rifling. Est.: $200-$400. (No FFL Required)
