Reproduction Claymore sword. Scottish variant of the late medieval two-handed sword. V-shaped crossguard that slops downward, ending in decorative, clover-like quatrefoil designs with langets running down the center of the blade from the guard. Massive sword that measures 55" overall with a 40 1/2" blade and a 9 1/4" black leather coved grip. Large round pommel. Comes with thick brown leather with 4 buckles for straps, the scabbard is 4" shorter than the blade, (Correct) typically shorter than the blade primarily for faster drawing because these swords were so long. Both in excellent condition.
