Reproduction Thompson Center Arms Percussion Halfstock Plains Rifle, with Leather "Possibles" Bag and Accoutrements, #266274, .50 cal., 26" octagonal barrel, dovetailed bead-blade front and windage-elevation adjustable rear sights, marked with maker's name, address and caliber at right, ser. no. left; flat lockplate has pressed scroll decoration, matching hammer; brass furniture includes scrolled trigger guard, 4.625" patchbox, crescent buttplate, lock screw escutcheon, two oval barrel key escutcheons, nosecap and two thimbles retaining the brass-tipped hardwood ramrod. Halfstock of varnished walnut has raised 7" cheekrest and panels at either side of lock, double set triggers. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 98% deep blue, figured case colors, and lightly toned brass. Stock is smooth with minor marks and all original finish. 10" round russet-leather possibles bag has shoulder strap and full front flap with lion decoration, contains T-C instruction booklet, copper powder flask embossed with dog and pheasants, wooden bullet tamper, 2 bags linen patches, 1 bag each cast lead balls/projectiles and a tub of lubricant, all in very good or better condition.
