Donovan Steynberg has offered a new exciting donation this year targeting a Namibia leopard. This is the opportunity for the Africa Safari hunter to add a prized trophy to their collection. The leopard is one of those trophies that everyone wants and is hard to come by. The hunt is for 1 hunter over the age of 18 for 14 days and includes the trophy fee for one leopard. The trophy is fully exportable from Namibia and for now, is importable into the states but who knows how long that will last.
You will be picked up at the Hosea Kutako International Airport - Windhoek and transported to a four-star lodge where you will hunt primarily out of blinds. The donated hunt must take place in 2022 as that is when the CITES permit is valid. Included in the hunt is lodge accommodation, all meals, beverages, laundry service, hunting vehicle, PH, tracker, skinner, tax on leopard hunt and pre-baiting. Bait will be checked daily and client will be required to hunt for additional bait every second day. This way bait is available on demand. Non-trophy animals can be taken for bait at a low fee of no more than $500. Or, you may hunt trophy animals for the published trophy fee and that meat can be used for bait. They were allotted 3 leopard tags and have saved one for our chapter for the lucky winner of this item. It you are not successful in harvesting your leopard, you will receive a $5000 refund OR the option to return for a second hunt during 2022. Additional hunters, non-hunters and days may be added at published rates. Not included is airfare, before and after expenses, animals wounded or harvested above donated value, park visitations, dip/pack and shipping of trophies, taxidermy or gratuities. Gun rental is available for $180 per week and $60 per box for ammunition or you may bring your own rifle. Namibia requires a permit to bring a firearm and Restless Africa will assist with the process. A $1000 deposit is required to secure your dates and will be credited toward your final bill once the safari is completed. Shipping on all items will be the responsibility of the buyer.
