During your 6-day photographic safari, you will enjoy the privilege of helping De Morney in his quest to become the world’s first to achieve success for IVF on a Rhino. When the very last northern white rhino male Sudan was on his end, too sick and too old to continue, Dr. Morney was tasked to end the gentle giant's pain and put him to sleep. Before he engaged in this heartbreaking event Dr. Morney gathered all the DNA samples needed to be able to soon bring back the northern white rhino. Working on a successful result for IVF on the southern white rhinos, he seeks this IVF knowledge as a way to bring back the northern white rhino. You will experience a female Rhino being darted and kept under sedation while Dr Morney retrieves eggs from the female. Your hands-on help will be part of this delicate project that will become world news with the reverse extinction of the northern white rhino! Your expedition will continue to engage in several other conservation projects with a focus on bettering our wildlife efforts to keep all wildlife populations healthy for generations to come. During the process, the video will be recorded as part of a documentary on this extraordinary event. It will thus capture your involvement for posterity. Shipping arrangements/payments are solely between winning bidder, the shipper of their choice and/or donors. DSC Carolina Foundation assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until DSC Carolina Foundations bank confirms full payment has been received. All hard merchandise may not be shipped until 30 days after the close of auction.

The following provisions will apply to bidders participating in online bidding:
1. Winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid. Winner will receive an immediate email acknowledgment at the conclusion of the bidding phase followed by a paid invoice once their payment has processed.
2. In the event the card is declined, DSC Carolina Foundation will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, DSC Carolina Foundation may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the affected item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3. Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (6% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
4. Online bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
5. Dallas Safari Club Carolina Foundation reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
6. If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
7. Dallas Safari Club Carolina Foundation reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.

9. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. Dallas Safari Club will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on Dallas Safari Club`s or bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. Dallas Safari Club Carolina Foundation does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
10. Dallas Safari Club Carolina Foundation may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
11. CHARITABLE DEDUCTION QUALIFICATIONS
•DSC is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization and not listed as a charitable organization under the United States Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, in accordance with IRS regulations, no payments or donations made to the Dallas Safari Club for auction items would be tax-deductible.
•DSC Carolina Fountaion is a qualified charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Donations to DSCF are deductible under Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. Consult your tax professional for the deductibility of amounts paid for auction purchases.
12. AUCTION CREDIT POLICY FOR DSC Carolina Foundation. Disputes regarding auction items purchased during the DSC Carolina Foundation Gala, or at any other time, shall be submitted to the DSC Board in writing and shall detail the basis for the dispute and the grounds supporting a refund. The DSC Carolina Foundation Board may, in its sole and absolute discretion, approve an auction credit for the amount paid, deny relief, or, in extraordinary circumstances, approve a refund of the amount paid. Without limitation, credits or refunds will not be given if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item in the time described in the auction description due to illness, work conflicts, personal or family conflicts or death(s), travel delays, or cancellations or any other similar matters affecting the auction buyer that are outside of the control of DSC or DSC Carolina Foundation. DSC Carolina Foundation auction credit policy will not apply to any auction item for which the Donor and Buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction catalog or any other description of the auction item prepared and/or disseminated by DSC Carolina Foundation. If a refund or credit is approved by the DSC Carolina Foundation Board for any auction item the proceeds of which are to be paid to or split with any third party beneficiary, the refund or credit will not exceed the net amount allocable to DSC or DSC Carolina Foundation for such item. All credit or refund decisions are within the sole discretion of the Board of DSC Carolina and all Board decisions are final.
