Rick Taylor Bronze – “Against All Odds”
Rick Taylor is a huge supporter and one of the most renowned wildlife artists on the contemporary sculpture scene. Rick has again donated one of his beautiful works. Rick’s art is appreciated and collected by museums and individuals worldwide. His focus is centered on the wild sheep of the world but covers many species and subjects from all corners of the globe. This year’s donation is a bronze sculpture titled “Against All Odds”. This piece depicts Boone and Crockett new world record Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. The record became official in 2015 when a ram from Alberta was officially scored at the Alberta Wild Sheep convention. The ram had died from a vehicle collision in South West Alberta. The life of this ram was well documented by scientists at the Sheep River sanctuary and this ram was named #706.
