Rollin White Arms Co. Solid Frame Spurtrigger Cartridge Pocket Revolver, NVSN, .22 RF cal., 3'' octagonal barrel marked ''Made for Smith & Wesson: By Rollin White Arms Co., Lowell, Mass.'' on top rib, 7-shot round cylinder marked along its periphery ''Patented April 3, 1855 & Dec. 18, 1860'', with two-piece varnished rosewood grips. Mfg'd 1861-1864, with the entire model's production being sold through S&W's dealer network. Originally blued barrel and cylinder, with silver-plated brass (or bronze) frame. Condition is very good retaining no original finish, sharp edges and markings, with cleaned pitting on right side of barrel and circumference of cylinder. Left grip has repaired longitudinal crack but grips are otherwise smooth and fit well. Action is crisp and tight; bore appears clean with distinct rifling. Est.: $250-$350. (Antique)
