American made semi-automatic centerfire rifle chambered for .223 Remington (fires 5.56x45mm per owner's manual), and was manufactured circa 1981 in Southport, CT. Rifle features a blued finish, integral proprietary optic on the receiver, 18" pencil barrel, slotted 4-1/2" flash suppressor (entire device length), large blade front sight, fully adjustable rear peep sight, manual blade safety inside trigger guard, stamped trigger guard/take-down lever, smooth curved two-stage trigger, magazine release paddle inside magazine well, manual bolt hold-open button on top of the left receiver rail, and a smooth operating rod handle. The hardwood furniture consists of a smooth semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock, smooth forend, slotted black plastic handguard, sling swivel on the bottom of the shoulder stock, sling swivel on the gas block, and a smooth black plastic butt plate. The original blued finish retained is approximately 97% with minor handling blemishes. Metal displays no rust, or deformation. Action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. Furniture wood is in very good to excellent condition with a few minor blemishes, and a couple of spots of white material transfers on the top of the shoulder stock. Rifle includes one magazine total.
Condition is NRA Very Good.
