American made single shot, Falling-Block rifle chambered for .300 Win. Mag. cartridges. Based on John Farquharson's falling-block design that was patented in Scotland in 1872. It features a 24" blued, tapered barrel and receiver with no iron sights but is drilled and tapped. It has a serrated trigger, tang safety and smooth operating lever. The two piece walnut stocks, checkered at the wrist and forearm have a black metal Ruger grip cap, sling swivels and a black ventilated recoil pad. Mounted with a Weaver T-6 Micro-Trac scope, rings, bases. (Clear Optics) Padded brown leather sling with image of Elk on pad, Mason brown leather 5 cartridge holder attached to the buttstock. Bore looks great, bright. Metal finish looks great. Wood stocks look very good with a few scratches/scuffs. Overall very few signs of use, wear or handling. Comes with a 20-rd box of Remington 180 Gr. Core-Lokt cartridges. Condition is NRA Very Good+ Modern Firearm
