American made single-action black powder percussion revolver with a .45 caliber bore and chambers. This revolver was manufactured circa 1975 in Southport, CT. The Ruger Old Army was produced circa 1972 to 2008. Revolver features a blued finish, a 7.5" round barrel, loading lever with a collard push-button latch, raised serrated ramp front sight, micrometer adjustable square notched rear sight, thin smooth curved trigger, two-toned hammer with a serrated spur, non-fluted cylinder with safety stops, three-screw steel frame, smooth grip straps, and two-piece smooth walnut grips with Ruger medallions on both sides. The original blued finish retained is approximately 96% with a few handling blemishes, a light cylinder drag line, and some minor edge wear. Metal displays no rust, or deformation. Action is smooth and crisp with a tight lock-up. The bore is bright with strong rifling, and the cylinder chambers are also bright. The grip wood is in very good to excellent condition with some edge wear to the bottom of the left grip panel, a few light scratches on the right grip panel, and a little darkening from skin oils.
Condition is NRA Very Good.
