Smith & Wesson 3rd Model Wolf & Klar Model 1926 Hand Ejector Double Action Revolver, #41348*, .44 Spec. cal., 5'' barrel, nickel finish, non-matching numbered factory checkered walnut grips with bright medallions, high Patridge front sight and early adjustable rear sight, with matching numbered cylinder and barrel. Shipped July 5, 1932, to Wolf & Klar, Ft. Worth, TX, with factory letter signed by S&W Historian Roy G. Jinks. Factory information states that there were 25 5'' nickel revolvers of this type shipped in this order. When the revolver left the factory, it had fixed and not target sights. Although not mentioned in the letter, this revolver was returned to the factory for possible repair or refinish in June of 1944 and is so marked beneath the left grip panel. Condition is near excellent retaining approx. 95% factory nickel, with one small area of flaking to right side panel beneath hammer and light general micro-scratching. Grips with minor wear.
