Smith & Wesson M&P (Model of 1905) 3rd Change Double Action Revolver, #292238, .38 Spec. cal., 6'' barrel, blue finish, factory checkered walnut service style grips with inlaid Colt medallions, with fixed service style sights. Mfg'd 1914-1915. Condition is very good retaining approx. 90% original blue with overall freckling and areas of pitting on barrel. ''Humpback'' hammer and trigger retain approx. 80% case colors. All numbers match, including grips, which are lightly pencil marked on right grip panel. Grips are in excellent condition with minor flattening. The frame is unusual as it bears no logo markings of any kind, as ''The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wessons'' notes being a characteristic of some 4th change target frames. Grips are in excellent condition with minor flattening. Timing and lock-up are excellent, as well as bore. Est.: $500-$750. (C&R/PPT)
