FACTORY LETTER. Cal. 410 Ga. 3". S# 241083. 000 Frame. The 26" bbls. are unmarked on concave matted rib w/ twin white beads. Bbl. flats are stamped w/ S#, Parker overload proofs, Remington date code "DF" (September 1937), & weight. Grade & ga. are on left side of lump. Sm. case hardened hammerless action features automatic safety ("SAFE" engraved) & dbl. triggers. Watertable w/ lightening cuts is stamped w/ all correct Meriden markings. Action is wiggle border engraved. "PARKER" is on bottom of action. Blued trigger guard has S# on tang. Nicely fiddle figured American walnut Parker capped pistol grip bustock measures 14" over Parker dog's head buttplate without spur. Checkering at grip is of typical "V" point pattern. A silver shield engraved "T.P." is on toeline. Matching splintered ejector forend has steel tip, & typical Parker release. Interior of iron is stamped w/ S#. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter at muzzles: R .400 (MOD?) L .395 (FULL?). Min Wall Thickness: R .037" L .038". STOCK: DAH: 2 11/16". DAC: 1 11/16". LOP: 14". CAST: Neutral. WEIGHT: 5 lb. 12 oz. This gun matches specifications as listed in the "PARKER GUN IDENTIFICATION & SERIALIZATION" ledger. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory letter with original specifications indicating the gun was shipped september 1937. CONDITION: very fine. Bbls. retaining approx. 95% original blue w/ some light flecking. Action retains 85-90% of what appears to be original case hardening color, silvered on thumbpiece & around bottom from normal hand wear. Forend latch & tip have a lg. amount of color. Trigger guard retains approx. 90% original blue, silvering & flecking on tang. Buttstock retains nearly all of its original varnish w/ some added oil as maintenance; considerable amount of marks, dings & scratches, some of which are fairly deep. Checkering shows light wear at grip. Checkering on forend fairly bright, possibly cleaned up. Bores are bright & shiny. Action is tight. Ejectors are strong & in time. (22-11/MGM).
