Fisher has been a professional artist for more than 35 years. She creates vibrant, colorful paintings and works in sculpture, glass mosaics and mixed-media sculpting.

The animals she paints are realistic due to her love of exotic species and college studies in zoology and wildlife management. She shows her work every year at the Safari Club convention in Nashville, as well as several other venues nationwide. Her donations of artwork have generated thousands of dollars for protection and enhancement of wildlife habitat in the US.
The research needed for her next painting project often takes her to exciting new destinations including much of Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Scotland, Argentina, Tajikistan, and others.

Fisher has hunted on almost every continent and has taken an impressive number of game animals, which serve as invaluable references for her artwork. Cynthie’s artistic accomplishments include 19 duck stamp awards; cover artist for SCI’s SAFARI Magazine; featured artist for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Ducks Unlimited; SCI Artist of the Year and many others.

Cynthie is on the board of the Society of Animal Artists and is a signature member of the International Scratchboard Society; International Guild of Realis; National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society; American Women Artists group and several other prestigious national art organizations,.

Cynthie works in oils, acrylics, scratchboard, pencil, fused glass, bronze, and mixed media. Everything she depicts is original, usually something she has witnessed, or an idea of what she would like to see. She counts many of the finest animal lovers and big game enthusiasts as clients. There isn't an animal on earth she cannot paint!
