RIFLES. 1) REMINGTON MODEL 25 PUMP CARBINE. Cal. 25-20. Bbl. 17 1/2". S# 14881. Tube fed pump action, factory blued steel w/ hardwood stocks & metal buttplate. Sling studs front & rear. Drilled & tapped left side receiver w/ mount & Ted Williams 4X simple crosshair scope. CONDITION: while the receiver finish has weathered to a thin patina finish, the bbl. is almost completely void of original bluing, various stages of patina & staining encompass the entire bbl. Bbl. measurement of 17 1/2" doesn't seem to match any literature consulted. Rear stock has several minor impressions following the grain of the wood from the buttplate forward, some of which may have developed into light cracks. Wooden forend has several impressions & what appears to be one light crack running approximately 2" from the muzzle end rearward. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. Bore is clean w/ surprisingly aggressive rifling. (20-1086/JZ). 2) WINCHESTER MODEL 1907 SELF LOADING RIFLE. Cal. 351. Bbl. 20". S# 23879. Early Winchester centerfire autoloader. Mag. fed w/ unique front based charging handle which was located below the bbl. in front of the forearm. Hardwood stocks w/ plastic buttpad, rear stock tapped for sling w/ front sling attachment a band under the bbl. fitted w/ leather sling. Front blade sight w/ rear elevation adj. buckhorn sight. Receiver mounted Williams peep sight adj. for windage & elevation. MAG: 1 - 5 rd. mag. CONDITION: original bluing on receiver & bbl. has mostly aged to a thinning brown patina, some traces of dark blue scattered over both portions. Sights appear modern based on style & finish. Rear tang has been drilled & tapped partially obscuring factory nomenclature. Rear stock covered w/ scratches & gouges. Heavy oil staining in pistol grip area. Cracks on either side of receiver emanating throughout entire length of pistol grip. Forend matches the rear stock w/ several fine cracks emanating from receiver forward w/ an area approximately 1/2 x 1/2" missing from forend. Receiver has 3 notches filed in it above the handguard where it meets the bbl. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. Dark bore w/ extremely strong rifling. (20-1127/JZ). 3) MARLIN MODEL 27-S 25-20 RIFLE. Cal. 25-20 Marlin. Bbl. 24". S# 12848. Tube fed w/ a 7 rd. mag. 24" Oct. bbl. Slide action. The "S" in the model number designates the safety which was added to the right side of the receiver on this variant. Hardwood, plain straight grip stock. Dove tailed blade front sight w/ elevation adj. buckhorn rear sight. Exposed hammer. Curved metal buttplate. CONDITION: factory bluing has devolved to a browning patina, heaviest in corrosion on the 3 o'clock position of the bbl. above the mag. tube & continuing to the mag. tube in the same area. One area on receiver left side has also succumb to advanced pitting. Rear stock appears to have been cracked & repaired at one point from upper to lower tang, extending approximately 8" plus rearward. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. Dark bore w/ exceptionally strong rifling. (20-1130/JZ). ALL MODERN. $600-1,200.
