Repeat donor Safari Art is offering an exciting roe deer hunt for two hunters, or one hunter and one observer (your choice). Enjoy three days of hunting and two days of touring in historic Novi Sad and Belgrade, Serbia. If you have time, a tour and tasting of 3-4 local excellent wineries can be arranged for a fee of $350. (Old world charm and definitely worth it!). This package includes reception at the airport in Belgrade and transfer to your hotel and back at the conclusion of your trip, six nights’ accommodations (3 nights in 3-4 star hotels and 3 nights hunting lodges), and use of a 4x4 vehicle during your stay in Serbia, full board, meals, organized tours, professional hunter, trophy fee for one representative roe deer up to 350 gr, and field prep of your trophies. Hunter(s) can upgrade to gold medal roe deer per the outfitter price list.
Hunting takes place in the Novi Sad area in cultivated fields. Not uncommon to see 50 to 100 animals per day, depending on vegetation and weather conditions. Serbia’s Roe deer season runs from April 15 – September 30. Best periods to hunt are April 15 – May 31, and July 25 – August 10 (breeding season). Not Included is international airfare, rifle rental $150, hunting license $140, caping $100, dip and pack $35 per trophy, 20% VAT on total value of the trip, trophy export, tips, drinks and gratuities. Note: if two hunters wish to hunt separately, there will be an extra 4x4 vehicle charge of $200 per day.
Trip can be taken in either 2021 or 2022. If Serbia restricts or closes due to Covid-19, the trip can be moved to 2023.
Trip can be extended for $550 per day (hunters)/$350 per day (non-hunters). Additional hunters can be added for $4,100 each, and non-hunters $2,500 each. Additional hunting opportunities available: Extra roe deer ($1,500) or a package of 5 roe deer ($5,000); Russian Wild Boar without size limit ($1,750); Mouflon Sheep without size limit ($3,750); Racka Sheep ($3,650); Feral Goat ($2,450); Jackal ($1,100); Wild Cat ($1,800); Badger ($950); Marten ($800); Fox ($350); and Wild Turkey ($800).
