Cal. 357 Magnum. S# 2K22627. Bbl. 4" w/ rib & shrouded ejector. Serrated ramp front sight w/ square notch adj. rear sight. K-frame 3 screw action w/ pinned bbl. Case-colored target hammer and target trigger. Action, cyl., and bbl. have class A factory vine-type foliate scroll engraving. Nickel finish. 2 piece checkered Goncalo Alves target grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: letter from the Office of Smith & Wesson Revolver Manufacturers detailing the following information: "We have researched your Smith & Wesson .357 Combat Magnum, Model 19-3 Special Engraved Variation, with serial number 2k22627, which was shipped from our factory on February 1, 1972, and delivered to American Wholesale Hardware Co., Long Beach, CA. The records indicate that this revolver was shipped with a 4-inch barrel equipped with a ramp front sight, target hammer, target trigger, Class A engraving, nickel finish, and checkered Goncalo Alves target grips.". Housed in a S&W-marked wooden display case w/ blue velour fitted interior. Near-excellent, retaining over 98% nickel finish, showing a light cyl. drag line. Very good grips.
