A picturesque Maritime province in eastern Canada, when searching for all the places that you can hunt Moose, New Brunswick boasts the highest success rate when it comes to Fair Chase.
Non-resident moose tags in New Brunswick are extremely difficult to obtain with only 95 outfitter tags (that are generally sold at least a couple of years in advance,) and an additional 25 lottery tags, “The odds are slim.”.
In fact, the latest data from 2024 shows that New Brunswick allocated 5,115 Moose tags of which ,02 percent were issued to non-residents so the old saying "They are scarce as Hen's teeth" certainly applies when it comes to non-resident Moose tags in New Brunswick. In addition, no other state or province can boast an 80 percent success rate that New Brunswick produces.
This Hunt is five days and is the last full week of September. Generally peak rut for these magnificent beasts.
This must be a guided Hunt. The successful recipient will be provided with a list of top rated UGONB Outfitters.
