Hunt Spain for Iberian red deer stag. You will work with an English speaking guide hunting pre scouted areas for Iberian Red Deer. This is a stunning first European trophy!
Giuseppe & Curro Carrizosa will host you in this top class European hunting experience. You will be received at Madrid’s Int’l Airport, assisted with gun clearance and gun permit fees, and provided all land transportation for three days.
The hunt takes place in the Toledo Mountains at the outfitter's estate, El Castañar, where they also raise fighting bulls, an activity that is truly unique. As part of your experience the outfitter would be happy to provide a guided visit to the ranch, explaining the history, breeding, and daily management of fighting bulls, which is a fascinating cultural and agricultural tradition rarely accessible to visitors. This is a very valuable, unique experience. A bucket-list item for sure.
In addition, the hunting area is very close to the historic city of Toledo and to Puy du Fou España, the award-winning historical theme park known for its immersive live shows depicting major moments in history. Depending on the hunters’ interests and schedule, one of these cultural visits could be incorporated as part of the overall experience for hunters and/or non-hunting companions.
Accommodations will be provided at El Castañar, our 15th-century hunting lodge nestled in the Toledo Mountains. This historic estate has remained in the same family for centuries and has hosted Spanish Royal family hunts for generations. In other regions, you'll stay in premier hotels and enjoy gourmet traditional cuisine at top local restaurants.
Most hunts take place in vast, free-range “Natural Parks”, government-managed wildlife areas akin to National Parks, where hunting is strictly regulated. Game is wild and free-roaming, with virtually no pressure, contributing to an impressive 100% success rate in recent years. These areas are known for producing multiple world-record trophies.

Any warranties with respect to items, hunts or trips are those solely and expressly supplied by the manufacturer or donor. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer, shall be the purchaser. In case of dispute between bidders, the auctioneer, shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder
It is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the hunt or trip donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements. If you fail to contact the donor within thirty days of the date of your purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
All auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all hunts or trips must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
A majority of outfitters do not allow "stringing" of donation hunts (purchase of multiple hunts in a single country), even if it is not explicitly stated in the hunt description, so please don't buy more than one hunt per country. If you want to string together two or more donated hunts, be sure to gain the approval of ALL the outfitters ahead of bidding, to ensure they will honor your purchases.
Auction hunts are donated in good faith by the donor. Donations are made to both raise money for our core missions, and secondly to attract new customers to outfitters. Most outfitters do not accept multiple purchases by the same bidder to be used all together as one item. Please be respectful of the opportunity you have been offered!
Auction hunt buyers must be flexible as some dates are inevitably booked by the outfitter or professional hunter.
