PREMIER GRADE PUMP SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 Ga. S# B015213. 2 Bbl. set. w/ 26" Cyl. bore & 28" Full choke solid rib bbls. Bottom ejection action has full coverage engraving by Robert P. Runge. Engraving features vignettes of setters on right side bracketed by scenes of bobwhite quail w/ pointers on left side bracketed by woodcock. Scenes are surrounded by vine type foliate scroll, punch dot backgrounds & chain link borders. The engraving extends to receiver top, bottom, trigger guard, slide bar, forearm cap & breech sections of both bbls. Robert Runge started his career w/ Parker Bros. & moved to Remington w/ his father in 1934. He became Remington's Master Engraver until his retirement in 1979. Sm. rnd. forearm & pistol grip stock of fancy thin shell walnut w/ vivid red & brown tone marbling. F Grade checkering consists of fine point patterns on wrist of stock w/ segmented wrap around pattern having scalloped edges on forearm. Toeline of stock has brass name plate. Grip cap is Remington plastic replacement w/ goose. LOP: 13 1/4" over solid black Decelerator pad & 1/4" spacer. Weight w/ 26" bbl.: 6 lbs., 2.2 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: second bbl. CONDITION: action retains over 90% original blue showing light carry & edge wear. 28" Bbl. retains over 95% original blue w/ a bright bore showing sm. spots of pitting forward of chamber. 26" Bbl. has 98% reblued finish w/ spots of remaining pitting in forearm area & has a nice bright bore.
