Cal. 45 ACP. S#130912. Bbl. 5" Colt Type 4 used on Colts from 85,000 to 450,000 (approx. 1914-1918); "H" and "P" on top and "5" in front of unmarked legs. Mfg. 1915 within Army contract of 7,620 ending with S# 133186. Earlier unmarked blued hammer with short beavertail. Correct grips having large double diamonds with 11 rows in between. Correct features include: flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop, short tang grip safety, thick tab safety without undercut, checkered slide stop w/ undercut, long trigger with serrated face and U notched rear sight. Flaming bomb bulls eye proof on left side of slide but not on frame. Top of firing pin retainer not beveled. MAGS: fair to good unmarked two toned 7 rd. w/ lanyard loop. CONDITION: good appearance as blued with clear markings. Random areas of light pitting and faint peppery oxidation. Brown patina tone in grip area. Typical light wear and scratches throughout including from improper slide stop installation. Coloration of frame and slide appears mismatched plus slide proud of frame at rear. Good plus grips with light hand wear; mostly on left. Good to very good bore with light frosting. (22-4233/NW). CURIO. $1,500-2,000,
