Original Springfield's have "S" stamped on all sm. parts & top edge of firing pin retainer beveled; quick check of parts w/out completely stripping frame yielded only mag. release "S" marked. Correct style of flat mainspring housing w/ lanyard loop & short tang grip safety. Safety tab & slide lock are both checkered w/ milled undercut. CONDITION: good general appearance as refinished w/ slide being more recently refinished due to added sights. Frame appears very close to original finish w/ clearer markings & noticeable hand wear along w/ high point wear. Fair to good grips w/ some marks around grip screws & noticeable diamond top wear on left; right better appearing. Near excellent bore & normal exterior function wear. (21-3726/NW).
