WITH SCOPE. Cal. 22 S. S# 5317. Bbl 29 3/4". No. 49 single shot rifle manufactured by Stevens A&T Co. Half octagonal barrel is marked with Steven's 2 line address on the top flat, with the caliber designation on the left flat. Frame and loop lever are case color hardened, with the breechblock, hammer, and barrel being blued. Smooth wood pistol grip stock featuring a Swiss buttplate, with a smooth wood forend. Barrel is mounted with a Stevens No. 470 scope, with the frame featuring double set triggers. Matching numbers are present on the frame and barrel. CONDITION: frame retains good amounts of its case colored finish, exhibiting fading and light wear overall that shows through to gray patina. Barrel retains bountiful amounts of its blue finish, exhibiting some superficial marks from handling and storage. Bright bore, exhibiting some scattered spots of pitting and strong rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows some scattered marks and minor impressions from storage and handling, but are otherwise very good overall. Scope retains a hazy optic.
