SHOTGUN WITH SINGLE TRIGGER. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 210036. Bbls. 28", marked "HUNTER ARMS CO" "FULTON, N. Y." on rear portion of matted game rib. Bbl. flats & bottoms of bbls. have all correct factory markings. Casehardened standard weight action is of early type w/ bushed strikers & features non automatic safety, & Hunter One trigger. Action is engraved w/ a few sprays of scroll & line borders. Lockplates have some scroll engraving & circular scenes of game birds; quail on left & duck on right. "L. C. SMITH" is on each lockplate. Blued trigger guard w/ scroll on bow has S# on tang. Lightly fiddle figured & marbled European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 13 3/4" over serrated hard rubber buttplate. Matching splinter ejector forend w/ inset hard rubber tip has typical J-spring & knurled roll release in guitar shaped escutcheon. Bore diameters: left - .724, choke .030 (full), right - .725, choke .024 (mod). Wall thickness: left - .024, right - .025. DAC: 1 11/16". DAH: 2 5/16". Neutral cast. LOP: 13 3/4". WEIGHT: 7 lbs. 0 oz. CONDITION: exceptionally fine, appears close to new, but w/ some ravages of time. All metal parts retain nearly all (95% +) of their original finishes, w/ only some high edge wear. Stocks have nearly all of their original finish w/ a few light marks. Grip cap & buttplate considerably browned. Some water stain on left side of butt. Forend tip re glued & is slightly proud. Bright shiny bores. Very fine mechanics. (19-5429/MGM24).
