SWISS ARMY MODEL 1900 LUGER, SN 263, CORRECT
HOLSTER & STRAP. Cal. 7.65mm Luger. S# 263. This is a very early Model 1900 Swiss Army Luger with the relieved frame in almost new condition! It has the early Swiss Cross in a Sunburst over the chamber with the DWM factory monogram on the front toggle. It has the desirable features such as the superb polish blue finish with early flat breech bolt, with flat spring extractor, fast taper 4.75" barrel, narrow trigger, narrow grip safety and the scarce first pattern safety lever with the large checkered head. It has the small Swiss Cross acceptance proofs on the major components, barrel extension, frame and toggle assembly, several associated with halos as seen with original strikes. It is fitted with excellent, original checkered walnut grips. Disassembly shows all matching numbers. MAGS: one original Swiss with metal disc on each side of the unnumbered wooden base. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original Swiss Army leather holster and shoulder stapes. The back side is stamped with a boxed Geneva Swiss Cross/B proof mark over, C.E. RUEGEGGER/01/BERN. The holster is in excellent condition, with clear markings, a nice medium brown color, and intact stitching with only some very minor wear and flexing of the leather. CONDITION: excellent with 99% of the original blue finish overall with a hint of holster wear. The small parts also retain 98% of their straw colors, also with just a hint of wear. Discreetly import marked using a fine laser etching method in an unobtrusive area. The grips are in excellent condition with distinct, sharp checkering overall, showing just a few minor nicks. Hand cycles and dry fires correctly with an excellent bore. A gorgeous rig that would be very, very difficult to upgrade! PROVENANCE: From the esteemed collection of Paul Regnier, Switzerland. (20-1410/LA). CURIO. $6,500-9,000.
