HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Adopted with Switzerland’s Sturmgewehr 57 (Stgw 57), the M1957 was the standard Swiss bayonet for the service rifle. Production involved blade suppliers Wenger and Victoria/Victorinox, with final assembly performed by Waffenfabrik Bern.
