SWORD - Imperial German WWI Bavarian Officers Sword by Carl Eickhorn

Measures 38.5" long overall. The double engraved steel blade reads 'In Treue Fest'.
It is maker marked with the early double squirrel Carl Eickhorn mark.

The Black painted steel scabbard measures 1-1/16' wide by 34-1/8" long.
Has a black wire wrapped celluloid handle with a brass 'P' guard.
A very fine collectible sword.

The wire-wrapped black phenolic grip in single hanger black lacquered steel
scabbard. Condition is very good to near fine with light general thinning to gilt at
handle. Light scuff marks to blade, otherwise very bright and minty.
Scabbard with light general overall scuffs and paint loss.
