The buttplate shows light handling wear. The furniture shows light scuffs and scratches. The lop measures 13. 75" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in very good plus condition. type of finish: bluedfinish originality: originalbore condition: the bores are bright with visible wear towards the muzzle. There is no erosion in the bores. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 9/10. overall condition: this shotgun retains about 90% of its original metal finish. The finish shows edge wear, light scratches, and operational marks. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this shotgun rates in fair to good condition. It would rate much higher if not for the non-firing left barrel. mechanics: please note that the left barrel will not fire. It is unclear what the internal issue is. The action otherwise functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. Savage arms produced the various fox model b and bse iterations from 1940 until 1988. The "b" stands for model b, the "se" for selective ejectors, and the "c" designates the deluxe grade with its premium checkering and wood appointments. This shotgun retains approximately 90% of its original metal finish, presenting a clean overall appearance. Overall, this shotgun rates in fair to good condition due to the missing rear trigger.
