Savage 'Model 1917' Vintage American made striker fired semi-automatic compact pistol manufactured circa 1920-1926. It features a blued finish, 4" barrel, inverted 'V' front sight, fixed notched rear sight, smooth curved trigger, serrated cocking lever, manual safety/slide catch on the left side of the frame, toe magazine release, 10 round magazine, steel frame and two-piece fancy checkered black synthetic grips with Savage insignias. Bore is dirty with strong rifling. Blue finish is about 75% with muzzle/edge wear, some handling loss on the backstrap, and some loss on the front of the trigger guard. Synthetic grips are overall very good with a small chip on the right panel, and two minor chips on the left panel. Includes (1) original magazine showing some rust.
