American made lever-action rifle chambered in .250-3000 Savage, and manufactured circa 1951 (date likely) Chicopee Falls, MA. Rifle features a blued finish, case-colored action lever, 24" tapered barrel, ramped blade front sight with a copper bead, dovetailed folding adjustable rear sight, fixed rotary magazine with cartridge counter on the left side of the receiver, serrated curved trigger, cocking indicator on the top of the receiver, and a serrated sliding lower tang safety behind the trigger. The walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, checkered Schnabel forend with a sling stud, sling stud on the bottom of the shoulder stock, serrated metal butt plate, and a checkered black plastic grip cap. A Redfield optic mount is installed onto the receiver. The original blued finish retained is approximately 98% with light edge wear, minor handling blemishes, and the receiver taking on a brown patina. The color case finish retained on the action lever is approximately 98% with the slightest of thinning, and minor edge wear. Most of the brilliant colors remain. Metal displays no rust, but there is slight deformation in the optic mount's screw slots. Action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. The furniture wood is in very good condition with light thinning to the finish, and minor handling marks.
Condition is NRA Near Excellent.
