Savage Model 99 .300 Sav SN: 508885
Lever-Action rifle chambered for .300 Savage cartridges, circa 1948. It has a rotary magazine, serrated trigger, 24" round tapered barrel with ramped post/bead front and an adjustable sporting rear sight with elevation slider. It has a cocking indicator on top of receiver and an early unique brass cartridge counter visible in a window on the forward left receiver. The wood stocks are checkered at the wrist and on the Schnabel forearm with a black textured grip cap and White Line recoil pad. Metal finish appears to have been reblued (not great) including the lever. The wood stocks look good but do show signs of use and handling. Bore looks very good, bright but a little dusty. Comes with a Bushnell "Sportsman" 4-12x40 AO scope with rings and bases and a padded leather sling. Condition is NRA Good as reblued *C&R Firearm*
