Savage Model 99 lever action rifle, .300 Savage caliber, Serial #638872. The rifle is in nearly excellent overall condition with a 24” barrel with a ramped blade front and semi-buckhorn rear sights. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish with light handling marks. The lever and lever assembly shows vivid color case hardening. The checkered wood butt stock has been shortened with a ventilated rubber recoil pad addedproviding a 12 7/8” LOP. The bore is dark and may clean to fair and the action works well.
