Martially marked antique lever action percussion revolver with .36 caliber bore, manufactured in Middletown, CT circa 1861-1865. The Union purchased just under 12,000 of these unique revolvers during the American Civil War for the Army & Navy. Features a 7" octagon barrel, short brass pinched post front sight, fixed 'v' notched rear sight, smooth trigger, ring lever, heart shaped trigger guard, repaired hammer with smooth spur, non-fluted six shot cylinder, loading lever and smooth walnut grips. Stamped with inspector mark "H" on the barrel. Revolver exhibits an aged brown patina with scattered pitting throughout. The loading lever displays a reblued finish. Action is mechanically sound, the bore is fair, the nipples are damaged, the markings are mostly visible and the wood grips are good. Condition is NRA Good. ***Antique Firearm***
