Scarce Auto Mag ''B Series'' TDE/OMC Model 280 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with extra .45 Win. mag. barrel/slide and more, #B00118, .44 AMP cal., 6.5'' vent rib barrel, stainless finish, checkered black plastic grips, integral blade front sight and square-notched adjustable rear sight, with two (2) magazines. An El Monte made Auto Mag that is marked ''TDE'' and ''OMC'' on left side of slide. Included is a 10.5'' stainless .45 Win. mag. barrel/slide, marked ''AMC'' and mfg'd when the company was in Covina, CA. Also included is a black plastic Auto Mag case, a first edition copy of the book ''Auto Mag, The Pasedena Days, The Years 1966-1972'', by Bruce Stark; shooters manual; June 1997 edition of ''American Handgunner'', which features an article on the .44 AMP Auto Mag pistol. This 6.5'' barreled pistol rates in very good condition overall with scattered surface scuffs and others signs of moderate handling and range use. Grips show moderate wear, checkering with a few flat spots, no major blemishes. Rear sight has toned and is plum colored. Action is smooth; bore is clean and rates in excellent condition. Additional 10.5'' barrel is excellent overall; there are intermittent light scratches present on the exterior; bore is bright with crisp rifling. There is no longer a foam interior on the inside of the plastic case; printed material shows moderate age and wear. Est.: $2,500-$3,000. (Modern/PPT)
