Scarce Navy Issue Beretta Model 1922 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #202856, .32 ACP cal., 3.25" barrel, blue finish, pressed metal two-piece "PB" marked grips, lanyard loop, blade front sight, fixed "V"-notch rear sights, with one unmarked 8-round blue steel magazine. The Model 1922 was made from 1922-1932. The slide is marked "PISTOLA-AUT-BERETTA 7.65 BREV. 1915-1919-." Marked with an "R" "M" on each side of an anchor and chain in an oval on left side of the frame. Pistol is in good overall condition, retaining traces of original finish in the protected areas, with the remainder worn to gray, with considerable pitting on the slide and frame, worse on the left side. Grips are in good condition. Action functions smoothly and locks up securely. Bore is good, with some areas of light erosion, and well-defined rifling. Est.: $700-$900. (C&R)
