Shootmore Single Shot 12 Ga SN: G321
American made single shot break action shotgun chambered for 12 Gauge shells. The Shootmore was a trade name gun apparently made by Stevens between 1915-1940. This one has seen better days but does have some character. It has a 30" barrel in the white with some surface rust. Same with the receiver but there is some patina. The Shootmore stamped into the left side of the receiver looks like Snootmore. It has a knurled hammer spur, smooth trigger, metal trigger guard, no sights and top lever. The top lever is very loose and needs to be moved into position to lock up. The wood stocks show there age with use and wear. The forearm is cracked and a brass band was wrapped around barrel and forearm to keep it together. The stock is chipped on top (both sides) where the receiver meets the wood. The bigger chip is on the left where you can see the side of the tang. It has a thin black butt plate that is cracked at the bottom screw and missing at the top screw. The black grip cap is good. This is not a shooter, at best a nice wall hanger after a little TLC. Bore looks dirty. LOP is 14". Condition is NRA Poor *C&R Firearm*
