5-day Sitka Black-tailed Deer Hunt on Kodiak Island- For Three Hunters

Mike Odin’s Alaska Adventures, LLC is offering a 5-day/5-night Sitka Black-tailed Deer semi-guided hunt on Kodiak Islandl Rate $6,500 per hunter. Arrival/departure point is the city of Kodiak, Alaska. Method of take is hunter’s choice (rifle, archery or muzzle loader). Kodiak Island is hunting paradise! Kodiak holds a healthy population of trophy Sitka black-tailed deer. Alaska Department of Fish and Game estimated there are 80,000 deer on Kodiak. Hunters are allowed up to 3 deer. We hunt during prime rut time, mid-October - November. Also, hunters may take two fox. Kodiak has three color phases of Red fox (Red, Cross, Black also referred as Silver). Our Kodiak hunting wilderness cabin is a 20-minute air charter flight from the city of Kodiak. Included are guide service (1X2/3), accommodations (warm comfortable 3-bedroom wilderness cabin), home cooked meals (hot breakfast, box lunch, snacks, dinner and beverages), boat transportation to and from hunt areas. Additional hunters and observers may be added. Hunters may upgrade to sea duck hunting and/or sport fishing for daily fee ($250 per day). Not included are any before and after expenses, commercial airfare, air charter passenger seat to/from camp, hotels, Alaska hunting license, locking-tag for each deer, harvest tickets, trophy/meat shipment, taxidermy trophy services, and gratuity. Passengers air charter flight (shared cost) from city of Kodiak to/from Ugak Bay: $840 RT with Cessna 206 (750 lbs. max. weight) or $1,225 RT with De Havilland Beaver (1,200 lbs max. weight). Alaska nonresident hunting license: $160, deer tags: $300 each, harvest tickets required: no fee. If clients upgrade to sport fishing and sea duck hunting, client(s) require the following: Sport Fishing license (7-day): $70, King salmon stamp (7-day): $45, Alaska waterfowl stamp: $10, and Federal migratory bird hunting and conservation stamp: $25.
